Introduction to NEA Short Film

• Study 10 British short films
• Must make a 5 minute short film- Individual
• Section A is 55 minutes
• Section B is 50 minutes

Success Criteria

• Use a Three Part Structure (narrative) - Act 1 (The Set-Up), Act 2 (Point of no return), Act 3 (Resolution)
• Use Dramatic qualities of short films (for example through dialogue)
• Explore how narrative can convey point of view
• How messages and values are conveyed
