Location Reccies

Hainault Forest
- A nearby forest with different areas of greenery including very closely packed tree areas that block out light and create an overwhelming and suffocating atmosphere and effect
- For this location I would be filming the majority of the forest
scenes in which the girl is trapped in
It is very large and would often be many areas that are empty so that the filming is not interrupted by people - this would also create a feeling of isolation and fear
The Forest is also only a 15 minute drive away from my house so it is also quite practical
Leadenhall Market

Brightly yet still gothic inspired public market in London
- It has an almost magical quality with the bright glowing lights and the arched and decorated ceiling - wanted to use this location to keep with theme of the short film whilst continuing the idea of bright (yet more muted colored lighting) - Located in Gracechurch street in London
Seven Dials

Neale's Yard in Seven Dials is a brightly coloured square with different shops combined with greenery - it is a location in London that is not too hard to get to by trainI would use this location as a spot in which the main character walks past before ''falling asleep'' to contest daytime as a happy and safe reality with the more dark and ominous nightmare story scenes
My Living room
For the 'Sleepover' scene where the story is told, I wanted to use my living room as it has large purple velvet curtains that are perfect for the opening scene. It is also very practical to use as for the sleepover scenes, as I need to film in a house at night and mine will be the easiest and most sensible to use.
