Three Act structure

•Act 1: The Set-up 

-Series of short clips relating to the story – similar to opening of the Ellington kid 

-Curtains close and lighting switches to red - group of girls sit around a candle w/ blankets wrapped around them (sleepover) – someone asks for a scary story so the narrator tells them about the Erl-king–cross-cuts

-Girl walks down Leadenhallmarket waiting for somebody– then sees a rose in the corner – picks it up and accidently pricks herself - wakes up in middle of forest 

•Act 2: Point of no return 

-Girl wakes up on floor of forest & starts explore –- use description from story for storytelling part 

•Act 3: Resolution 

-tension builds up & up until it looks like the girl is cornered – then suddenly the image freezes and the doorbell ring – the narrator stops the story to go get the pizza from the door and as the door opens the screen turns black & it ends.
